18. Volcanic Lightning
Volcanic eruptions are sensationally epic and violent explosions to witness, and you might have noticed that they often bring forth lightning along with all the other incredible visuals.
Volcanic lightning appears thanks to the volcanic ash particles erupting externally, creating static electricity, which then crashes into itself, forming amazing arcs of electricity.

Volcanic Lightning
The force of this crashing is thrilling to behold, but obviously supremely volatile. Weather experts also refer to this unreal event as a “dirty thunderstorm,” a name which we feel takes away from its awesomeness.
17. Waterspouts
It seems like there is a type of tornado for each element, not to mention water tornadoes, which are called waterspouts.

Waterspouts
They do indeed exist, but unlike their fiery and earth-based counterparts, only hold a smidgeon of their ferocity. You can generally find waterspouts in the gorgeous everglades of the Florida Keys. They are usually preceded by intense weather conditions like heavy winds, lightning, and hail, appearing in the far distance of such happenings.
