After asking the employees to repeat themselves, it was clear that they were about to lose their temper with her. She just wanted to make sure that she was understanding what they were saying. They reiterated that her bikini bottoms were too small, and inappropriate for what is well known as a “family park”. What was meant to be a joyful moment of Madelyn coming into her own and wearing something she had worked for years to be able to do, came crashing down in an instant?

Taking another glance around the pool area, Madelyn noted that there were many others who were more scantily clad than she was, and she reiterated to the staff that she was wearing regular-sized bikini bottoms just like a majority of the visitors at the water park. She couldn’t help them but wonder whether she had been singled out by the younger employees, or if they had seriously received a complaint in the short time she had been at the park with her family.
