With a personality and screen presence too big for local journalism she started garnering interest from major networks in cities across the U.S. She secured employment in Orange County in the late nineties, before making her move to Los Angeles’ KTTV in 2000.

A Knoxville local and Mississippi State University alumni, Chita Craft is a fan favorite with her witty delivery and charming screen presence. With a lot going for her she had the opportunity to move to Houston in a new position as a lead meteorologist. Boasting accolades such as the regional ‘Best Media Personality’ award for two years in a row, she continues going from strength to strength.
