2019 – The Year of Breakthrough for Science

2019 was going to be a history-making year for the NPS as they were also on a mission to compile the largest paleontology database they ever did. The database would cover an extensive array of findings that were not limited to a comprehensive catalog of all the various types of historic fossil findings from the Grand Canyon. From the collection and the findings, they were hoping to get deep information that would shed light for both the public and experts in the field as it relates to life in and around the Grand Canyon region. It would provide a clear understanding of life in the area.
